The Challenge

The SEA Games needed a unifying identity that could represent all participating Southeast Asian nations under the theme “Rising Together.” With diverse cultures, colours, and flags across the region, the challenge was to create a cohesive brand system that felt inclusive, distinctive, and instantly recognisable. The identity had to communicate unity and shared purpose while standing out from previous editions of the Games and other international sporting events.

The Idea

We developed a visual identity that merged the colours of all participating nations’ flags into one harmonious design system. By blending these colours into the logo, graphics, and visuals, we created a symbolic representation of regional diversity rising as one. This approach reinforced the theme “Rising Together,” transforming the Games’ identity into a celebration of unity, inclusiveness, and collective strength.

Result

The new identity resonated strongly across Southeast Asia, enhancing visibility and reinforcing the message of togetherness. The unified colour system improved brand recall and positioned the Games as a truly inclusive regional event. The design not only stood out visually but also strengthened emotional connection, reminding audiences that every nation — regardless of size or background — rises together under one shared spirit.
